Delta Busted Mugshots
Delta is Millard County's biggest incorporated place. The 2020 Census put 3,622 residents there. You might expect a city police force to match, but the city's Law Enforcement page points straight to the Millard County Sheriff. That one detail changes any records search. Adults arrested in Delta get booked through the county, and a booked person lands at the Millard County Jail in Fillmore.
Not every police contact leaves that trail. A citation, an incident report, or a field contact follows a different path. No jail booking comes with it. So there is no separate Delta arrest log, roster, or photo display to check. The routing still tells you where to start: the Sheriff and the county jail records process.
Important: A Delta booking entry only shows what police logged at the time of the arrest. Court records tell the rest of the story.
Delta Booking Access
The MCSO site has been offline for maintenance. No roster, bookings feed, or photo policy could be confirmed there. That gap says nothing about arrests themselves. MCSO likely still holds the underlying records even with its site down. Before trusting any online result, just check whether the site is back.
For context, Delta's official law-enforcement page is worth a look. It shows the handoff to the Sheriff. It is not a live arrest list, though. Treat it as background only.
Since the city defers to county law enforcement, work a booking inquiry in order. First, check whether the MCSO site is back up. Then contact the Sheriff's office by phone or through its records channel. If a case has reached the courts, pull that court record next.
Note: No current public roster or booking-feed display was verified for Delta or for the Millard County jail system.
Where Delta Busted Mugshots Appear
Official sources come first, because each one answers a different question. The sheriff route covers current county custody and record requests, while court and correctional sources handle the later stages of a case. A secondary county landing page, listed last, is not official. It may be incomplete or out of date, and it cannot confirm an arrest or its outcome on its own.
| Channel | Photo status | Official? | Use for a Delta matter |
|---|---|---|---|
| MCSO website | Not verifiable while in maintenance | Yes | Check whether a current jail interface has returned. |
| Sheriff / Justice Complex | Ask about an existing record | Yes | Call 435-743-5302 for the correct custody or records channel. |
| Sheriff GRAMA request | Protected image rules may apply | Yes | Request a precisely described existing record from the Sheriff’s Records Officer. |
| Utah Courts Xchange | No booking image | Yes | Check a public filed case and its later disposition. |
| UDC offender search | Not a county booking route | Yes | Use only for sentenced people or those under UDC supervision. |
| AlertSense and VINE | No booking images | Yes | Use for community or custody-status notifications, not a roster. |
| Mugshots.com Millard landing | Zero entries observed during review | No | It has a Delta place filter, but is unofficial and may be stale or incomplete. |
Mugshots.com offers place filters for Fillmore and Hinckley alongside Delta. Zero entries there prove nothing about arrests, and no update pattern is known. Treat it as a footnote, never a replacement for MCSO, a GRAMA request, or a court disposition.
The Millard County Sheriff’s Office Android app is a communication tool, plain and simple. The store description pitches it for agency news, tips, reports, and contact. Nothing in that description supports using it as an inmate lookup, a live bookings list, a photo source, or a warrant search. It is handy for staying in touch with the agency, not for pulling a sheriff record.
AlertSense and VINE fill two different notification roles. AlertSense pushes community emergency and major-incident notices. VINE handles custody status, including release and transfer alerts. Neither one provides a booking photograph or a public arrest log, but both show why a roster is not the only official channel worth knowing.
Busted in Delta: Booking Lookup
A smart lookup keeps four things separate: a fresh arrest, someone currently in custody, a release, and a case now in court. Give the name and rough timing only, just enough to describe the record you want. Absence from a current-custody list means little. It never proves a person was not booked.
- Check whether the official MCSO site is available again and inspect its current terms before treating it as a roster.
- Call the Millard County Sheriff’s Office at 435-743-5302 when the website is unavailable and ask for the appropriate custody or records contact.
- Send a narrow GRAMA request for an existing sheriff record to Lindsay Mitchell, identifying the kind of record and any useful date range.
- Search Xchange for a public case after court staff enter it, then use the case result to learn the disposition rather than relying on the initial charge.
- Use the UDC search only after sentencing or for UDC supervision, and use VINE when custody-status notification is the need.

Delta City and Sheriff Records
Delta City has its own GRAMA route for records it holds, such as city administrative documents. Written requests go to the City Recorder at 76 N 200 W, Delta, UT 84624, with 435-864-2759 as the contact number. The city’s public-records page and its form lay out the costs. Inspection is free unless research runs past the first 15 minutes, after which it is $20 per hour plus $0.10 per standard copy. The city allows a normal 10-business-day response window and requires prepayment whenever an estimate tops $50.
Be clear about what those figures cover. They apply to Delta City records only, never to sheriff booking documents or photos. For an MCSO arrest report, a county-jail booking record, or a booking image, describe exactly what you need and ask the Sheriff’s office for its own GRAMA process and a real cost quote.
A booking photograph does not carry the same legal status as an ordinary city record. No fixed MCSO fee appears in the available sources. Ask for a quote, and do not lean on the Delta City fee schedule as a stand-in.
Delta’s Busted Roster Gap
Delta has no busted roster of its own. The city points anyone with a law-enforcement question straight to the Millard County Sheriff's Office, and the MCSO site has been down for maintenance. No city log stands in the gap either. On top of that, Delta bookings routed through the county system have no verified same-day feed, no multiday blotter, no archive, and no stated photo policy.
Utah Code §63G-2-305(80) treats a county-jail booking image as protected unless an exception applies. So asking for a photograph is never a promise of a public web image or an automatic release. Even if the Sheriff's page comes back online, the county would need a current policy in place before anyone could say how photos are displayed, timed, or kept.
Note: A released, transferred, or never-booked person may be absent from current custody information even when another record exists.
Delta Booking Photos and Court Results
A booking and a court result are two different things. When charges get filed in a public case, Xchange is the state's route to eligible case information. Look there for a later court outcome, not for an image or a current jail status. Millard Justice Court takes class B and C misdemeanors plus infractions, and Fourth District Court handles felonies and class A misdemeanors.
Once a person is out of county custody, the Utah Department of Corrections search can show sentenced incarceration or supervision. That tool is no substitute for a Delta arrest log, though. It also can't tell you how a charge turned out. Protected, juvenile, and expunged matters carry extra limits on what the public can see.
Delta Busted News Sources
The Millard County Chronicle Progress is a weekly paper covering Delta and Fillmore. Its pages carry MCSO and court reporting. There is no dedicated arrest log or booking-photo section, though. One Chronicle Progress piece on MCSO activity in Delta ran with a generic stock image. That tells you the reporting is narrative, not a photo source.
Mid-Utah Radio offers regional coverage with occasional Millard stories. It is not a Delta custody list. News can add context around an arrest. Still, confirm any story's claims with the originating office and, if charges were filed, the court record. The Millard arrest news coverage page sorts that reporting role from the official records path.
